Safety Lights
What are Safety Lights?
Safety lights are a type of lighting device designed to improve visibility and safety in settings where visibility is limited. They generally use bright colors and have reflective properties which make them more visible in low-light conditions. Safety lights come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors and are commonly used for nighttime activities such as running, cycling, or even walking in the dark. They can also be used during the daytime to increase awareness from drivers or pedestrians who may not otherwise see you.
What are the Types of Safety Lights?
There are two types of safety lights: ST-AUTO and SD-FLASH.
ST-AUTO is a type of light that comes with a bunch of features. This type of safety light is ideal for use in the car or on the go as it features a power bank and a car charger. It also has a magnet so it can mount to your car. Another great feature is its built in class breaking hammer that allows you to escape your car in an emergency.
SD-FLASH (Safety Device Flash) is a type of safety light that is small and lightweight. It can easily be attached to clothing or backpacks and features a bright LED light that can be seen from up to 1,300 feet away. This makes it a great choice for nighttime activities such as running, cycling, or walking in the dark. Additionally, it has an adjustable light setting so it can be switched between standard, strobe, or SOS.
What are the Laws and Legalities for Safety Lights?
The laws and legalities of safety lights vary by state, but typically they must be used in accordance with local laws and regulations. In some states, it is illegal to use certain types of safety lights while driving a vehicle, such as flashing tail lights or headlights. Additionally, many states have laws prohibiting the use of colored lights that could distract other drivers.
